The biggest goal of Thai Binh province’s investment promotion program in China is to develop green, clean and sustainable projects.
Within the framework of the working trip to promote investment with Chinese enterprises in Thai Binh province, on August 23 and 24, the working delegation of Thai Binh province led by Mr. Ngo Dong Hai – Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee – visited and worked with Shanghai Launch Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., Kelin Packaging Manufacturing Group and Geely Auto Company.
This is also the series of events concluding the investment promotion program of Thai Binh province in China.
Speaking at the working sessions, Mr. Ngo Dong Hai emphasized that the top goal of the working trip is to connect and call for investment with enterprises in China, especially enterprises and investors operating in the fields of computer technology, phones, automobiles, high-tech agriculture, new energy, renewable energy, semiconductor chips, etc.

These are not only industries that China has strengths in, but also in line with the province’s development orientation of developing green, clean, and sustainable projects; prioritizing attracting reputable and branded enterprises to invest in large-scale, high-value projects, producing products participating in the global value chain, and being environmentally friendly in order to realize the Thai Binh Provincial Planning to 2030, with a vision to 2050.
Thai Binh is currently a strategic location for investors who want to expand and develop production and business because the locality has a strong desire to develop the economy and society. The locality also has a favorable geographical location, belonging to the key economic growth triangle in the North of Vietnam; land space for large-scale industrial development, well meeting the development needs of investors.
In particular, with a large land fund for industrial development in Thai Binh Economic Zone with an area of 30,583 hectares, of which over 8,000 hectares of land for industrial development as well as in 10 industrial parks and 49 industrial clusters with a total area of nearly 3,000 hectares with built infrastructure, ready to welcome Chinese investors.
Mr. Ngo Dong Hai also hopes that through this trip, the provincial leaders as well as enterprises and investors of the province will learn and gain valuable experiences to serve the socio-economic development in Thai Binh; at the same time, opening up cooperation opportunities in new fields between Thai Binh province and enterprises and investors in China in general, Shanghai in particular.
Thai Binh province also commits to accompany and create the most favorable conditions for Chinese enterprises and investors to come to learn about investment cooperation opportunities, effective production and business, and develop together in the province.

In an exchange with the provincial delegation, business leaders and investors in Shanghai affirmed that Vietnam is an important partner of China and a potential market with strong development in recent times.
In particular, for Thai Binh province – a locality that has grown strongly and is becoming the most attractive investment destination in the northern provinces of Vietnam, in the coming time, Shanghai businesses hope to have the opportunity to cooperate and invest in the province with the goal of mutual development.
